Weight-loss drugs such as Novo Nordisk’s (NVO) Ozempic and Wegovy are disrupting eating habits, and restaurants should prepare for changes, an analyst says.
More than half of Americans taking GLP-1 drugs including Eli Lilly’s (LLY) Mounjaro have changed their eating habits, a survey by UBS found. Of GLP-1 users, 37% are dining out less. That’s up from about 31% in a June 2025 survey.
